With the national election out of the way, Oak Crest looks toward voting in another one as the community prepares for the Resident Advisory Council election. This nine-member board of residents acts as liaisons between the residents of Oak Crest and the Administration team.
The RAC Elections are held every year with member’s terms being two years long. The election alternates between four and five open positions each year. This year, eight candidates are running to represent the residents. The candidates include Cathy Brodersen, David Cuneo, Harold Forst, Bill Hodges, Charles Jednorski, Bernice Lehr, Bill Litsinger, and Dee Real.
Posters in the community lobbies have the pictures and short biographies for each of the candidates, but sometimes it’s good to hear the words from the candidate’s mouths themselves, and Oak Crest TV is giving you that chance. On Thursday, November 17; Saturday, November 19; Friday, November 25; and Saturday, November 26, Oak Crest TV will air interview done with each of the candidates by resident Jim Wetzel.
Wetzel discusses their past, their hobbies & interests, their qualifications, and what department they’d like to work with if elected to the RAC. Be sure to tune in on each day at 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 12:00 AM to see the show and meet the candidates. The show will also be available on Saturday, November 19 at www.oakcresttv.com.
