This past weekend I took a trip up to New Jersey with Kayla Coulson and Tina Moskunas to check out the newest ship, the Anthem of the Seas. This was the first time the ship has been in the United States after touring in Europe for several months. It was amazing to see how many activities there were on the ship for passengers to partake in. We know residents will love it! Continue reading

Throughout the year, the Erickson Values Committee is responsible for presenting 16 deserving employees with 12 Employee of the Month and 4 Manager of the Quarter awards. The winners are employees that excel at the values & principles set forth by Oak Crest. It isn’t simply coming to work and getting the job done, it’s doing everything in their power to share their gifts to create a community that celebrates life. Once a year though, the committee, along with the Oak Crest Executive Team, presents two very special employees with the Best of the Best awards. We know that Oak Crest is made up of extraordinary residents. From athletes, to musicians, to writers, this community has it all, however, this week, we would like to feature a different “talent.”

Resident David Flumbaum went on a mission trip late January/early February to Romania and Myanmar to help spread the word of God in hopes of uplifting these countries. The Charlestown Conference Center doesn’t have the much tall grass, or really any grass at all, but that doesn’t mean that their Winter Putterland golf course does have it’s own challenges. This full 18-hole course designed and built by members of Charlestown’s woodshop is part of the annual miniature golf tournament where residents compete to raise money for the Charlestown Benevolent Care Fund.
