Just a few short weeks ago the Oak Crest Community welcomed Stacey Schiano, new Philanthropy Manager! She has some great ideas in store for the community and she cannot wait to meet everyone.

Stacey comes from a background spent in the non-profit world…18 years to be exact! Her main focus was in marketing and development, and she is ready and willing to take on her new position. Before joining the Resident Life team, Stacey worked for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America where she worked as the Director of Development. Stacey lives right around the corner in Perry Hall and loves how much shorter her commute is now! She has two daughters who she enjoys spending time with and taking vacations to the beach.

We all know with a new job comes new responsibilities, and Stacey is ready. She is currently looking to hire a new Philanthropy Coordinator who will help her stay organized and enter data. Her main focus right now is the 2016 Benevolent Care Fund Gala which takes place in September. She is still trying to learn all the ins and outs of the job and she is looking for residents to help her and share advice!

A “meet and greet” will be held on June 6th from 3PM-4PM for residents to come out and meet Stacey…however, there is one catch. In order to attend this event in the Garden Room, you must find Stacey beforehand and ask her for a ticket. She can be found walking the halls, or in her office in Village Square.

This program will air on Thursday, June 2nd at 10AM, 2PM, 7PM, 9PM, and 12AM. It will also be available the following day at oakcresttv.com. Let’s welcome Stacey!
