Throughout the year, the Erickson Values Committee is responsible for presenting 16 deserving employees with 12 Employee of the Month and 4 Manager of the Quarter awards. The winners are employees that excel at the values & principles set forth by Oak Crest. It isn’t simply coming to work and getting the job done, it’s doing everything in their power to share their gifts to create a community that celebrates life. Once a year though, the committee, along with the Oak Crest Executive Team, presents two very special employees with the Best of the Best awards. This awards ceremony brings together residents and staff to celebrate exactly what the title says: “The Best of the Best”.

This year, the event was held in John Erickson Hall and featured an Academy Awards style theme to honor the 2015 Employees of the Month and Managers of the Quater. Each Best of the Best nominee (the Employees of the Month and Managers of the Quarter) was brought up on stage and they had a summary of their award nominations read to the audience. Once all sixteen were recognized, Executive Director Mark Roussey and Human Resources Director Wendy Kelly presented the Employee of the Year and Manager of the Year awards to Chaplain Don Moldovan and Jill Clippinger, Assistant Director of Dining Services.

If you were unable to attend the ceremony, Oak Crest TV will be airing it in its entirety next week on Oak Crest Now. This inspiring ceremony truly demonstrates the hard work that Oak Crest employee put into the community every day. Be sure to tune into the ceremony rebroadcast on Thursday, March 24th at 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 12:00 AM, or catch it the following day at www.oakcresttv.com.
