Farewell Phriday

Todd Sullivan appears in the intro to the 2013 Benevolent Care Telethon
Tune in this week as we take the opportunity to say goodbye to Director of Philanthropy and Communications Todd Sullivan.
by Christopher Taydus

For the last 8 years, Todd Sullivan has been the face of fundraising at Oak Crest. Todd is the originator of the Oak Crest telethon, the Dancing with the Oak Crest Stars competition, Philanthropy Phriday, and the Legacy Tree in Crestview Station. He’s become the face of Long Range Planning, Resident Satisfaction Surveys, and all three charitable funds at Oak Crest (for which he’s raised over 10 million dollars). His boundless energy, limitless creativity, and positive attitude will be sure to leave an indelible mark on Oak Crest for years to come.

Because of his numerous contributions to the community, it was bittersweet to hear that Todd’s tenure at Oak Crest was coming to an end on January 29th. Todd will be taking his talents to The John Carroll School in Bel Air, MD. Todd is ready to help John Carroll pursue its mission just as he’s helped Oak Crest do the same since 2007.

“John Carroll’s mission is one that goes beyond the classroom and teaches students not only how to make a living, but also how to live,” he said.  “To have the opportunity to lead the advancement efforts as way to continue the tradition of John Carroll’s mission, celebrate those who have come before and help ensure a solid future, is an honor.  It is an exciting time to be part of the John Carroll family.”

As a tribute to Todd, Josh Runkles will be sitting down with Todd on Oak Crest Now to talk about his time at Oak Crest and some of his favorite moments from the last eight years. This show will air on Friday, January 29th at 10:00 AM. The show will re-air on 2:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 12:00 AM. It will also be available the following day at www.oakcresttv.com.

Oak Crest TV would like to wish Todd (and his whole family) good luck in the new endeavor and let him know that he’s always a welcome guest on Oak Crest Now!
